The University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI) is expanding its education horizons with a new programme that educates teachers. This new offering is endorsed by the University of Miami, and is designed both to enhance the skills of existing teachers and to train new educators.

A seminar that addresses the impact on human rights and democracy of the 800-year-old Magna Carta. The University of West Indies Open Campus, along with the Constitutional Affairs and Parliamentary Studies Unit of St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Magna Carta 800th Anniversary Committee, will host the seminar, titled “Magna Carta and Human rights in Cayman Islands.”
